The Science of Staying Centered: Nervous System Intelligence for Real-World Leadership

Workshop Description:

Today’s leaders need more than sharp strategy—they need inner stability. In this engaging and practical workshop, George “Iceberg” Miller explores how the nervous system shapes our emotional experience, decision-making, and leadership presence. Instead of managing or suppressing emotions, participants will learn to integrate them—accessing deeper clarity, connection, and composure under pressure.

Drawing on insights from neuroscience, this session equips leaders with somatic tools to stay present and grounded—even in high-stakes, high-stress environments. You’ll explore the connection between your physiological state and your leadership performance, uncovering how your nervous system influences how you show up in meetings, handle conflict, and lead others.

Through hands-on, embodied exercises—including breathwork, nervous system self-soothing practices, and real-time regulation techniques—you’ll build the capacity to stay centered in moments that would normally trigger reactivity or retreat. In some sessions, optional cold exposure (such as ice water immersion) is used to simulate pressure and train resilience under intensity.
